Welcome to the Sharks Swim Fit group!
The Swim Fit group is for swimmers 5yrs+ who are looking to improve their stroke skills and general swim fitness. The group is divided into 3 practice groups based on age & ability.
- White Group: 5-9yr, who can complete 25 yards of free & back
- Blue Group: 8-12yr, who can complete 25 yards of free, back, and breaststroke
- Black Group: 10yr+, who can complete 25 yards of all 4 strokes.
The Swim Fit program will run in 4 sessions for the 2023-2024 swim year. Swimmers can register for all 4 sessions making a year-round program.
- Session 1: Swim Fit - Fall @ Stevenson (Sept 5 - Nov 2)
- Session 2: Swim Fit- Winter @ Clear Springs & Friendswood HS (Nov 6 - Mar 8)
- Session 3: Swim Fit- Spring @ Clear Springs & Friendswood HS (Mar 18 - May 3)
- Session 4: Swim Fit -Summer Squad @ Centerpointe Pool,, 1002 Lilac Pointe, League City HERE (May 28-July 26)
The swim fit group does meet the requirements to fulfill the off-campus PE credit for CCISD or FISD.
The Swim Fit group does not have required volunteer hours or fundraising.
The Swim Fit group can participate in meets throughout the year. Swimmers will be invited to participate in meets they qualify for. If attending a meet, family may be required to volunteer.

Swim Fit Summer Squad 2024:
We now have a confirmed pool. It will be at the Centerpointe Pool HERE
Practices will begin Tuesday, May 28th and continue through Friday, July 26th.
Cost: $275 for the session fee + Swimsuit, goggles, fins, snorkel, kickboard. Approx $335
USA Swimming Registration not required for Summer Squad
Practice schedule:
There will be no practice on Thursday July 4th.
Swim Meet Dates & Info:
Please note that the playground should not be used by Sharks families, it is only for centerpointe residents. We are not renting the playground, therefore it should not be used.
The neighborhood has requested that vehicles be parked on Centerpointe avenue, in order to keep the street and parking lot for the pool/playground clear of any obstruction.

Swimmers need to wear a competitive swimsuit. A one-piece racing suit for girls and a jammer or brief for boys. No board shorts or rashguards. Please come prepared with dryland apparel for every practice (shirt, shorts, & tennis shoes).
